We left our comfortable anchorage in Melbourne at around 0730 bound for Vero Beach. It was a glorious day and just before 1100 the swimwear came on...well at least for me. What a joy to be in the sun out on the trampolines just soaking it in!
We arrived in Vero Beach just around 1230 and were rafted up with Island Khaya. It was cute to see our two girls together getting ready for their sleep over the next two nights.

A HUGE treat was meeting up with my sisters dear friends, Sheila, who took us to a great lunch spot called
Chive...yummy! Then she earned her place in Heaven by taking us to the liquor store and, God love her, the grocery store. Of course we overbought as I have constantly been doing but we are certainly stocked up! We even found two more cases of All Day IPA so clearly bought both to stock up!

| Sheila, such a wonderful fun and gracious lady--thank you a million times |
We met up with Pamalynn and Island Khaya for a walk down to the beach and dinner at
Waldos...a wacky hotel/restuarant right on the beach. Ed and Pam raved about the wings and they were 100% right-man we love wings. Now I will say that if you order the "Top Shelf Margarita" with an extra shot of Grand Marnier, make sure you get the extra shot...actually, just order the regular margarita because we have reason to believe that you're not actually getting top shelf...hey but the wings rock and the beach is literally right there. Never mind all that, it was great to have all seven of us together.

Back at the dinghy dock we said our farewells to Pamalynn who will be home this afternoon. We are so happy to have met them. Along with Island Khaya, they have been the two boats who have been kindest and more friendly to us and we truly appreciate them both.
It's Wednesday now and I'm sitting here in my bathing suit because I am committed to going to the beach today. This evening we are going to be spoiled and cared for with dinner at Sheila's house! We are looking forward to seeing her again, super awesome gal, and meeting her husband, Mark. They are generously sharing their knowledge of the Florida coast and the Bahamas with us--while feeding us! I can't wait! XO Suzanne
PS, I did capture one morning shot but then also got to see these guys in the little cove where we are moored. Hope this comes through OK.
Many thanks for the video of the animals swimming in the ICW......excited to hear the sounds. Really, good watching in the morning here with a cup of coffee. Love to all.
