All,
we are anchored at a military base (its ok we didn't do anything wrong). Its camp Lejeune at:
34 34.58N
77 19.43W
The harbor here is very calm. we have not had a calm night yet! the
winds have been about 20kts every night. ear plugs are a must for me or i
can't sleep. Jon and Suz have been doing great.
Stay Cat is performing very well so far. The only thing i have noticed
is that the port engine is using oil. tonight will be the first time we
will add a little oil so it is not burning it too fast. we are hoping
it is a valve seal and we think we may be able to replace that without
pulling the head. We will wait until Fl before we think about messing
with that.
The Poo tank is 7/8 full so tomorrow we hope to find a pump out. The
fresh water is down to about 30 gallons so it is a good time to find a
dock. So it looks like we can make it about a week with out pumping out
or adding water. When we get out on open water neither of these should
be an issue.
